ERP for OCD, Phobias, and Anxiety Disorders

Are you sick of the constant chatter in your head? The what-ifs and worst case scenarios? I can help you disrupt the repetitive loop of anxious thoughts and learn to focus on making values-based decisions to live a more joyful life.

I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to treat OCD and anxiety. Click here to learn more about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

50 minute session: $180

A brief explanation of how Exposure and Response Prevention works for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Phobias.

What clients are saying:

  • “After years of feeling helpless and out of control in the face of OCD, ERP feels like a relief. What I love about the therapy is that it’s so actionable - because of that, I’ve started to break through compulsions that I thought I would never be able to release. Not only do I feel a little more empowered every day, but I feel like this therapy has given me a new language to communicate what’s going on inside my brain.”

  • “In ERP therapy, we came up with baby steps to help conjure my anxiety and compulsions around going to the grocery store. The first of my exposures was just driving to the grocery store by myself when traffic wasn’t bad, then when I felt comfortable with that it went to going into the store and just grabbing three items. Now when I need to go to the grocery store I don’t have hesitation to walk out the door and go because I’ve showed myself (and my anxiety) that I can do it! ERP therapy may seem difficult but it’s so worth it and I’m excited to see what more I can overcome because of it! I finally feel like I have some handle on my anxiety and OCD.”

  • “If you told me 3 months ago that I could do the things I’m doing now, I would not have believed you! Practicing exposures and learning how to respond to disturbing thoughts has given me more confidence to do the things I want. I feel like I’m at the steering wheel of my life now instead of just being a worried backseat driver. This therapy has been hard work but I’m so grateful that I started when I did. And I know my family is, too.”

Support for Health Care Professionals

It is often difficult for the “helpers” to ask for help. That’s where I come in. I can offer a listening ear and honest feedback for health care professionals who are looking for support.

Common issues I see in health care professionals are perfectionism and codependency.

50 minute session: $180

I am using Ivy Pay to accept card payments. It works with credit, debit, HSA and FSA cards. It is HIPAA-secure, keeps our therapy confidential and makes payment easy for you and me! All I need is your mobile number and you’ll receive a text prompting you to pay.

Consultation and Supervision

One of my passions is spreading awareness about OCD so that more clients can get the help that they deserve.

On average, it takes 12-17 years for individuals who have OCD to be properly diagnosed and receive appropriate treatment. I love collaborating with other therapists to conceptualize cases or brainstorm exposures. I’m also offering an introductory level virtual training to educate mental health clinicians in how to recognize and accurately diagnose OCD so that more clients can get the help that they really need.
